This Charcoal Rectangular Carpet will revolutionize our classroom! My students meet daily on the floor in our common meeting space for morning meeting, collaboration in all subjects, and to listen to their peers present their learning. We spend quite a bit of our instructional time in our meeting space, and we currently do not have a carpet for us to sit on in our room. My students would love to have a place that is more comfortable and enjoyable for them to use!
I have witnessed my students being more engaged in their learning when they are comfortable and have choice in where they can work.
When we are not meeting as a whole group, we also use flexible seating in our classroom. My students choose to work on the floor with clipboards in our meeting area quite often. They are able to collaborate and learn from each other during their work time. With the Charcoal Rectangular Carpet, my students will have an additional option for flexible seating throughout their day. This resource will be utilized during whole group instruction, small group collaboration, and individual learning on a daily basis!
We appreciate all of your help!
