In helping to fund my project, you'll become part of a community committed to ensuring that our students make it to and through college. From our rigorous college curriculum, to our extracurricular activities and our community partnerships we are extremely passionate about preparing our students to lead lives of opportunity and choice. A child that attends KIPP is four times more likely to graduate from college than their peers, and we hope to see that number continue to rise in the coming years.
KIPP continues to serve the kids who need US most.
All of our students receive free meals, over 90% are students of color, and just over 15% are special needs students. Less than half of our first Kindergarten cohort came prepared for Kindergarten. We need books to change this statistic and to close the achievement gap that currently exists at my school.
49% Academics and 51% Character is what our KIPPsters represent!
