My students live in a poverty-stricken neighborhood in Northern New Jersey. A majority of my students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. They have a great thirst for knowledge, but unfortunately because of their socioeconomic status they are unable to afford all materials and opportunities students in more affluent areas can.
