My students are 5th and 6th grade students in special education classroom for the majority of their instructional day. They come from all areas of town, mostly from an inner-city urban setting and have a variety of disabilities. Most of our students in the school qualify for free/reduced lunch and many come without the needed supplies for the classroom. These enthusiastic learners are a diverse group that include English language learners.
