We are a school district and home to just under three hundred students. We have students in grades Kindergarten through Fifth grade. At our school, we are faced with a high poverty and homeless population. School is often the main place in which they feel at home. For many of my students, Kindergarten is their first time to attend school and I was so excited to welcome them into our classroom.
It is a special year where a love of learning is fostered, friendships are made and the foundation for learning is built together.
Our learning day is filled with developmental play; beginning reading, writing, and math skills; and problem solving.
I am so excited to help these wonderful students learn and grow this school year!
