I am a general education teacher at Waiakea Elementary School, a Title I School located in Hilo, Hawaii. I teach 4th grade and I specialize in math and science. Throughout the day, I teach two different set of students, my homeroom and my partner's class.
In my classroom, my students have diverse needs. It can be challenging to teach students of varying ability. I want to turn my classroom into a place where students feel comfortable and safe learning at their own pace. My students have a lot of potential, I want to give them every chance to succeed.
