Hello! I'm Mrs. McCorkle and I absolutely LOVE teaching my kiddos! After being a Library Media/Technology Specialist for seventeen years, I realized I was ready to go back into the classroom. Being a Librarian provided me with a wonderful opportunity to experience the value of technology. My students have challenged themselves to collaborate with each other, and are looking to collaborate with students around the world. In order to do this, however, we must have technology readily available in our classroom. Google Drive is amazing, and having technology available for each student would open the world to these young men and women. I want my students to be aware of the world around them and not be totally preoccupied with their own world. Technology in our classroom will help them achieve this. I love watching my students learn and grow, and I love when they meet a challenge and throw pies in my face!
