I work with deaf/hard of hearing students who range from first grade to third grade. The majority of my students ASL (American Sign Language) to communicate with their parents, peers, and others around them. All of my students have hearing aids or cochlear implants. The school that I currently work at is a Title 1 school and are primarily Hispanic. I think it is so important to give these students the best experience they can have since we don't always know what their home life is like.
