Hi, my name is Kristin Richardson. I am in my 14th year as a 4th Grade teacher for Asheboro City Schools. As a young college student, I became a teacher because of the short school hours, holidays at home and an entire summer by the pool. What could be better? Needless to say, preconceived notions were vastly different than reality. Teaching is extremely challenging and demanding; yet, one of the most rewarding careers available. Every day, I am given the chance to work on the hearts and minds of individuals. Children, who may one day be given the opportunity to change the world. I have the privilege of helping to shape the future of an entire nation.
Education has been a rewarding career.
