As a K-6 AIS teacher, I believe it is my job to inspire students to dig deeper, explore the world around them, foster their curiosity and creativity, allow them to problem solve collaboratively, and above all, inspire their own love and passion for learning. I want them to know it is okay to make mistakes and that those mistakes could lead to amazing discoveries. It is my hope that they all realize that every aspect of life can be explored and the more they understand about how the world works, the more they can achieve with that knowledge. The students I teach are full of life and wonder. They are excited by figuring out how and why things work. It brings great joy to my life to see their eyes light up and their minds expand through the wonders of learning.
