I have a class full of excited and energetic 6 and 7 year old students. They come to school every day eager to learn and excited for what new and fun lesson will take place. My students enjoy exploring and questioning the topics we discuss. For several of my students, school is the best part of their day. The activities they participate in, and the manipulatives and technology they learn to use are only accessible at school. Our school is a place where kids can be themselves and are supported everyday. Even when someone has a bad day, we make sure that every child leaves knowing tomorrow will be better and with a smile on their face. Above all else, our students are our number one priority. I want my students to know that they are loved and supported each day. I expect the best from my students not only in their actions but also in the attitudes they display at school. We are a community of learners that need each other in order to be successful in our classroom.
