My students need new, sturdy, art tables to maximize the small classroom space, allow for flexible seating and table top steadiness for creating their art projects.
I would love to transform my classroom into an art studio setting for my little artists to learn, create and explore. Currently, I have old tables of varying sizes and heights in a small classroom space. There are days in which I teach about 36 students for an hour in this room, weekly. The current tables create a difficulty for my students in passing out supplies, and does not allow any movement for them to explore the art room, because of the clutter of the large and small tables in a tight space. It is also difficult to erase, draw and build without wiggling the tables and causing unintentional lines and shapes in their drawings and projects. Clean up is also difficult with limited space to move.
I鈥檓 hoping to replace all the different sized tables with 6 new, medium sized, color coded tables with sturdy legs. These new tables will open up the art room and create a wonderful space for them to learn and explore.
