Kindergarteners are full of energy and love to move around. Asking them to stay in one spot for longer than 15 minutes is a challange. Currently my students only options are to sit in a regular chair or on the floor during lessons. Offering students flexible seating options will allow my students to better complete independent work by having the choice to move while in a stationary position. Staying on task and completing work in a more timely manner is the goal with introducing flexible seating.
Flexible seating is great for my students who have a tough time concentrating or who simply have too much energy to stay in one spot.
