My students need glue, tape, watercolor sets, new paints, dry erase boards, new markers and drawing paper. Using these supplies, my students will engage in collaborative projects and individual art making.
My students are naturally curious and have a desire to create, innovate and explore art making! They are eager to express their creativity in my art class. In order to create art we are in need of supplies.
I teach art at a Title I school where all of my students come from different backgrounds and cultures. Many of my students come from low income families who lack access to the arts so my art room becomes the place where students can fully express their creativity. This school year we will incorporate what they are learning into different art projects.
My goal is to use supplies to create an engaging environment for my students. In my art class I make an effort to diversify our projects so they can engage every student in the class. We will use these supplies to create meaningful art pieces and design collaborative banners for our school community. Art room supplies will make our projects a wonderful learning experience for all of my students. We will use these supplies in future projects and throughout the entire school year.
