My classes consist of Pre-K students through 6th grade. I teach PE and music to all of these students. My students are STARS! Many of them come from economically challenged homes. Most of them have never even jumped rope! I have high expectations for all of them to succeed!
My 5th/6th grade boys walking club has been ON FIRE! Several of them do not have proper shoes for PE. I have bought shoes and water bottles to help them out.
I want enough supplies/toys/equipment so that everyone can play at the same time and not have to wait turns(although patience is a virtue)!
My school is a small rural area with limited resources for families. Many of my students are taking care of their own needs at home.
The older students often do not have deodorant, shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and combs. Many of them are hungry when they return to school on Monday morning! That shouldn't happen in America!
