Students who have a solid foundation with their reading skills are set up for success for the rest of their lives. Reading is such an important everyday skill that will help them to be able to seek out their own education everywhere they go. I hope to be able to have the tools to set them up for not only academic but real-world success as they exit my classroom and join the career world as adults. In the classroom we are not raising kids we are raising adults that will eventually be the future of our nation. My dream is to have a nation that reads.
