My students are generally from lower- to lower-middle-class working families. Some have access to technology, but many do not. They are inquisitive kids. They want to learn, and I want to provide as many opportunities as possible for them to do so. Our elementary school is very new. We are in our fourth year but our focus from the start has been to get these students ready for their futures. Whether it's college, or a career path, they need to be ready! So, I am looking to afford every avenue possible to create a modern place of learning so these kids are ready for higher academics and careers where, most likely, technology of various sorts will play a large role.
