Reading is such an important part of learning. Providing seating, such as soft seats and beanbag seats, will give them a comfortable place to sit and read. The carpet will give the students a place to get comfortable and designate the library area. The carpet chosen has the different genres, fitting for a library area.
Having a place dedicated for reading will give them an area that is welcoming and comfortable. We have purchased a listening station and the students right now would rather sit on the floor and listen than sit at the table. They love to lay and listen and follow along. I would love to see them in a comfortable spot instead of the hard, cold floor. I can not wait to put their book bags in the library so they are able to pull out their guided reading books to practice where it is inviting and built just for them!
