The books that were chosen will ensure my classroom library is filled with an assortment of books that students can choose from. Children need to be exposed to various types of texts from fiction to non-fiction. Every child needs to feel successful as a reader. The variety of books will ensure that each child is met at their individual reading level. First grade is where the love of reading begins.
