I am an Intervention Specialist (special education teacher) for a rural district. This is my 2nd year with Fayette County (TLC).
Being an Intervention Specialist I'm always looking for stress items, differentiation of materials SEL materials, and flexible seating to provide many ways to meet my students' needs.
These materials help my students to become more successful in the general education classroom and coping with stress and managing their emotions. Instead of my students leaving the general education classroom for a break, or needing to be removed because they're struggling to focus, they can use these supplies to remain engaged.
For those who end up donating to my classroom, I want to let you know how truly grateful and appreciative that I am along with my students. Thanks for helping to make a huge difference in my classroom.
