Transitioning from middle school to high school can be daunting for some students. Suddenly, they are immersed in a new culture with a larger campus, more students, unfamiliar teachers, and a new world of social pressures. In order to relieve a fraction of the stress these students and parents are facing, with the mounting monetary obligations of so many classes, I am asking for help to show each of my kids they are loved, appreciated, and capable.
I want my students to feel special on day one, by telling them that someone loved them enough, to make sure they were prepared for the school year in my class and that no supplies would need to be purchased!
My students have plenty of other issues to worry about and getting school supplies should not be one of them! From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate your help in setting these kids up for success.
