We are a diverse group of 4th graders at a low income, rural, Title I school. I teach math and science to a total of 42 students each day. They are bright, inquisitive, and have a huge desire to learn!!
We are in need of much! Most of my 4th graders do not have access to technology or other learning resources outside of the classroom, so I hope to enhance my classroom environment with as many learning tools as possible. With iPads we can use apps such as Kahoot!, Google Classroom, interactive labs, and other learning enhancing science and math programs to enrich curriculum. Manipulatives will help students fully grasp difficult concepts. Classroom management tools will help guide their learning without distractions, and flexible seating will give them comforts needed to relax their bodies so their minds can concentrate on enhancing and improving their own personal learning experience.
