Our students will be able to bring our Project-Based Curriculum outside of the 4 walls of the classroom and explore our greater surroundings by using the iPad to document their learning. With this mobile device, the children will be able to take observational drawings wherever we go, as we use what resources we have in our neighborhood to support detailed, explorative projects in many ways. The process of seeing something, or having the idea in the child's head, and transferring it to writing or drawing supports the learning process, expression, hand-eye connections, fine motor exercises, cognitive challenges, joy in exploring, pride in sharing, and much more.
The iPad provides opportunities for observational drawings based on Project Curriculum (indoors and outdoors), literacy exploration, fine motor skill work, innovative learning opportunities, STEAM projects, creative integration of technology with our learning, and more!
