Currently, we rely on projectors to show videos of musical performances. Our classroom has a lot of natural lighting, which makes a projector very difficult to see. Our students love being able to see videos of marching bands, jumbo flutes, or even someone playing music from their favorite show on their instrument! It gives them something to strive for!
In order to safely spread out our seating arrangement, due to COVID-19, some of our students will have to sit over 40 feet away from the whiteboard! We also use our whiteboards a lot while teaching. Whether it's showing them how to count a rhythm, read a note name, or which keys to press on their instrument, it is so important that our students can see what we are writing and drawing! By having this television setup, and using our district-issued iPads with the Apple TVs, we will be able to provide visual aids to our students with ease!
