These supplies and materials will help enliven the learning in our classroom by providing a place where all students can keep their notes...but not just any notes...
When learning about anything new or mastering material of any sort, our students need a place to anchor their learning! They need an exciting and organized way of managing, practicing, and interacting with their new information! Interactive notebooks have many hands-on activities that are cut and taped into notebooks so that students can refer back to their notes in a way that improves retention of that subject.
My students in previous years have felt such an attachment to their notebooks that they often come back in the following year and say that they are still using them in middle school! Help us create a classroom of bold and fearless learners! It may sound mundane, but note-taking can be exciting! Thank you for giving that gift to my amazing 5th graders this year.
