Our school is a Title I school, which means ninety percent or more students are on free or reduced price lunch. We are located in an area of Florida where the population is low income and mostly immigrants. My students come from a very diverse community, including many students with disabilities and English Language Learners from all over the world.
The students in my class are in the lowest thirty percentile of the grade level.
My students come to school each day eagerly waiting to start the day. However, with limited resources, it is difficult for me to make the learning environment everything it should be. I am always looking for ways to make learning fun and engaging, but there is only so much I can personally provide.
