The materials and supplies that I am requesting are for my students in 5th grade . With increasing enrollments, comes increasing need for supplies, however with budget cuts and no replenishment of damaged or lost equipment we are in desperate need of help.
In the words of Marie Curie, "Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less." Nowhere is this statement more true than in our urban elementary school class. We provide equitable physical and intellectual access to the resources and tools required for learning in a warm, stimulating, and safe environment.
Without help, my classroom will just be an empty space, void of stimuli for eager young minds and my students will lose an invaluable resource. Please consider investing not just in my students, but in their futures!
