Building Lego Robots can be life changing to students. The opportunity to build, code and run robots is what brings lots of students into the world of engineering. When using our new MINDSTORM Ev3 core and expansion set we be able to have students build more robots and be able to compete with them in FLL competitions. Right now we are limited on the amount of students that can participate. With more robots we can have many more students participate.
Our future engineers could have started from a classroom robotics program!
Students will have the chance to compete in either First Lego League or a local Sumo Bots program. The more Lego kits we have the more students we can have participate. We have had to completely raise our funds as a team to be able to complete. Now we are hoping for help in expanding the program by purchasing more kits.
