With a sensory table in our classroom, children will be able to learn while using one or more of their senses! Some of my children learn best by having hands on experiences, this would give them the opportunity to do so. My students love being engaged and not just watching. Magna-Tiles, gear builders, and a pretend cash register will allow them to work with their hands during math and science.
In addition to the sensory table, the manipulatives will allow the children to be hands on! This will allow me to connect with my class on a different level. We will have enough items in our classroom for everyone to get a chance for a hands on experience. I can't wait to see my students excitement if we get the requested items!
