My students will have daily practice with letter names and sounds by using the teaching tubs, Play-Doh mats or bingo in a teacher circle as well as individual use, in an Alphabet station or small group.
Students that need more support can participate with tactile letters and make learning their letters concrete with producing early letter formation for emergent writing skills.
Having a variety of ways to offer students that appeases to their level of engagement will increase student success. Also, students will be able to engage socially in a fun way with family characters and process roles within families while playing with peers in a structured setting.
