In the SMART Lab students will work on the 4 C's: Communication, Collaborate, Think Critically and Create. These supplies will allow them learn to work as a team to solve puzzles while synthesizing knowledge and thinking critically. The Breakout EDU games give students the chance to use in "real-world" situations while practicing important skills. All of these skills will be put to the test, as they try to solve the puzzles and riddles in an allotted time.
By allowing my students to "breakout" of their curriculum, I am giving them a chance to leave the assessments behind and take charge of their learning. The materials I've requested will build three breakout kits, allowing me to split my class into three teams. The Breakout EDU games take project-based, cooperative learning to the next level, and cultivate additional 21st-century skills that will serve my students beyond school, into their careers
