I work with special education students in East Harlem that mostly come from low income housing. The students are in the most fundamental ages between Kindergarten and 2nd grade and I have the honor to work with them! All of my student have an IEP, and require different approaches. Therefore, I accommodate their specific learning needs and help them take ownership of their learning and success. Along with, continuing to keep them creative and learn through hands on activities, in a creative and cool environment.
School is where the students see structure and expand their creativity, and these supplies will allow my OWLS to become the learners that they are persevering to be.
