Hi! This is my first year teaching and I believe that having a classroom that allows for flexibility and choice helps enhance student learning. I am continuing to work on gaining flexible seating so that my students may have a choice for where they work. This allows them to not be encumbered by their physical space and instead allows them to focus more on the material. Allowing different types of seating, especially for those students who tend to move a lot, can help focus their energy and while their body may be busy their minds are learning so much!
