The need for upgrades to our facility is long overdue. The process for ordering equipment is sorted by necessity and while the number of students taking part in athletics in our town continues to increase, the amount of funding received by our schools has remained stagnant due to budget constraints. While we are not allowed to take part in fundraising to purchase equipment for our baseball program, the 第一吃瓜网.org Initiative has presented an amazing opportunity for our coaching staff to hopefully get the necessary equipment our players deserve.
Our baseball program is in desperate need of three new L-screens before the start of this coming season. Our L-screens are used by our baseball program, along with many other local youth leagues, nearly year round. The L-screens we are hoping to acquire are durable and on wheels, which will allow us to easily move them between our two fields and also into our school gymnasium during the winter season. The L-screens would be utilized by the nearly 60 baseball players we have in our program, and hundreds of others, including our local little leaguers, who use our fields and equipment during the fall and spring seasons and also practice with us during the high school season. Our current L-screens are worn down, difficult to move, and the netting has to continually be restrung (and all too often a ball goes through the netting and hits a coach... which I can promise you does not feel good... trust me).
Any and all support would be greatly appreciated by our coaches and players!
