Why we need a flat tv? I bought a TouchJet Wave for our social-economic disadvantaged 3rd-5th students (We'll use it for Prek-2nd as well) for: 1. Small Group Collaboration: Students will actively exchange, debate, and negotiate ideas within groups. Students will learn to think critically by engaging in discussion and taking responsibility for their learning. 2. Communicating Ideas About Shared Creations: Communication skills are essential for a student’s successful future career, and is a much sought-after quality in today’s competitive world. 3. After School Programs: Engage a wide range of active students across multiple ages using different apps to reinforce class lessons in a fun and collaborative environment. 4. Field Trip Lessons On-the-Go: Encourage productivity and learning from anywhere outside of the classroom. And, 5. Parental Workshops. Touchjet enables the teacher to deliver rich media content – presentations, documents, videos on a big touchscreen and simultaneously on a tablet as the teacher walks around the classroom.
Each student actively participates using mobile devices to share answers, comments, and annotations – all are simultaneously displayed on the TV interactive screen.
