I am in my 9th year of teaching at a public school in California. This year, I teach a fun group of 4th and 5th graders. Some of my students are English Language Learners and most come from low socio-economic backgrounds. 59% of students at our school qualify for free or reduced lunch. My students love learning new things and are excited to come to school each morning. I want to continue to provide a welcoming learning environment for my students so that they can gain the tools they need to be successful in life.
