My students need a place where they can collaborate and communicate. The dry erase kidney table is perfect for this. The shape allows students to work in close proximity while reviewing with one another. The table allows students to draw maps and diagrams to review science and social studies concepts. It鈥檚 a great way to study with a partner for upcoming tests and quizzes. It鈥檚 also perfect for guided reading and math centers. My students will sit directly across from me, which allows me to give my student one on one help during a group setting without disturbing others. For math, my kids will solve problems on the table at their own pace and I can fix mistakes as they work. For reading, students can use it to record vocabulary words, parts they find intriguing, questions that they have as they read, or answers to questions that I ask them. This table is very versatile and helps save paper and time. When someone needs one on one review, we can go directly to the table and start working without the hassle of making copies. It is also motivating to students because my kids love new and exciting ways of learning!
Your generous donations will purchase a table that will help my students build communication and collaboration skills- skills very much needed for the real world!
