My students need hands on and functional items to help them learn.
All of the items will be used to teach my students who have autism- vocational, community, and function skills. The students go to "work" 4 days a week and need a Time Clock to learn the skill of clocking in and out of work and recording their hours.
The students follow a hygiene routine daily when they get to school in order to hopefully get a job or supported employment when they age out of public school. We work on brushing teeth, combing hair, folding clothes, washing your face, etc. Unfortunately, their parents are not in an economic position to send these materials in.
We also focus on money skills to help the students be as independent as possible. Students learn how to use an ATM and cash register so they they can budget their money in the future.
Thank you for reading about my classroom and if you are able to help it would be very impactful for my students.
