Excitement, joy, and enlightened looks, it is my goal to elicit these things from students every time I walk into a classroom or design a curriculum module. I am the director of Patterson Science Center. As the directer it is my job to design and develop curriculum centered around STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture-Art, and Math). I also have the pleasure of educating children in grades K-12 on a daily basis. We serve approximately 9,000 students per year (this includes daily school programs and summer programs). We are unique in that we are part of our local school system and begin as a result of a vision that our Superintendent had to put more STEM centered activities into all schools.
