With your help I will be able to make my classroom a magical one! We will be reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone this year, so I've decided to create a Harry Potter themed classroom. Students will be placed on a House team (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin) and will be earning house points throughout the year. Other supplies will make reading fun (Harry Potter glasses) and writing an adventure (broomstick pens). I'm a first year teacher that among many urgent needs (unit planning, lesson planning, etc.) wants to make this environment one that cultivates a love of learning. Please help me to give my students a room especially designed for them!
