A cozy corner will provide students a safe space to venture to when they need to self regulate. It will allow the students to access what they need, in order to be successful academically. It will promote independence as well as guide children to learn about themselves and what works for them as learners. The other materials chosen will fulfill the children's sensory and educational needs. The chair socks and whisper phones will reduce noise for learners who are sensitive to sound and are easily distracted. The kick bands for chairs will allow children to access physical output in their space to work productively. The visual timer will help students who have trouble transitioning to the next activity by visually showing how much time they have left for the activity. The pocket chart will provide hands on learning for my tactile learners.
These tools will provide an inclusive classroom for all types of learners.
