We are about to embark on a school year like we have never seen. As teachers and students we neither one have any idea what learning is going to look like this year. I want to give my students some novelty and choice in their learning. We want to be able to continue with small groups and workstations. Portable lap desks will allow us to be able to continue learning in this cooperative way while still maintaining social distancing.
Flexible seating will allow my students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. When students are allowed to have choice in their learning, the tend to be more motivated and engaged in the tasks in front of them.
The portable lap desks are perfect for workstations, digital learning, writing and even reading a book. These desks are versatile in their purpose and are easy to sanitize and store in the classroom.
