This project will allow first graders to appropriately strengthen their body and awaken their minds. This project will allow first graders to choose a spot to work while being comfortable. Uncomfortable students tend to be distracted and unproductive. Comfortable students are calm, focused, and productive. Many flexible seating options stimulate students’ sense of touch, and this kind of stimulation can help students focus. Sensory input is especially helpful for students with attention challenges. Flexible seating allows students to maintain a high attention span in their body and mind to increase concentration. Flexible seating helps improve posture, participation and behavior in class. It will help students keep healthy, alert, and productive.
