I am entrusted everyday with 37 little minds... 37 little minds that need every advantage they can get to feel successful.
Math is tough for some students and sometimes seeing it modeled over and over is the best way for them to eventually grasp the subject. Modeling is one of the most effective teaching methods that I have used over the years. A document camera will make this task even better for the students... and easier for me! Hands on learning makes math so much more concrete and understandable to the kiddos. We do as much "non paper pencil work" as we can.
Being exposed to the technology of a wireless document camera that will link with our iPads and smartboard will enhance our daily math instruction! Many of my students do not have access to technology at home. The more I can expose them to here at school, the better prepared they will be for the real world.
