This project will help our Life Skills classroom immensely. My students with autism and other developmental disabilities have intense sensory needs and these materials will help them thrive and survive the school day joyfully! A swing is a great place to get that propreoceptive input that my students crave. The various hand fidgets, "chewelry" and weighted items will also help my students regulate their sensory systems and attend to their environment so that they are available for learning. My students may have intensive needs but they are also are intent on learning and succeeding in Middle School. Please help make that happen!

About my class
