My students range 6th - 8th grade. We are at a middle school located in the mountains of Virginia. Many of the students, but not all, come from local farming families. They are hard working students who struggle with the meaning of life and where they fit in with their peers and education.. They are curious and intrigued, and are at a stage in their development to respond well to hands on projects.
