I teach 7th grade language arts in a Title I school. My student population is quite diverse and over 80% receive or are eligible for free of reduced lunch.
Currently I have 8 laptops in a self-funded flexible seating environment. These are wonderful but they limit the options I have as far as station rotations and other fun, engaging activities.
These computers will make all the difference in the world to my students
I would love to have 2 computer stations instead of just one. The additional four laptops would mean smaller groups and give kids more access to software that will allow them to become stronger readers. They will also be able to access my online tutorials and fun videos. Here is an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=im0e4phJiGA
