I work at a Title 1 middle school in San Diego, California. 100% of my students receive free lunch and some of the students are experiencing homelessness. Each day they wake up and are in my room ready to learn sixth grade English and Social Studies. I have many hands-on activities planned for this school year and the students will learn to be part of a caring community in my classroom. We are one...we are the pack! The students will become the future leaders of tomorrow. We will collaborate, create, and build community.
