I feel the Hot Dots and Toobaloos will help to encourage my new readers to soar to new heights with their reading. Hot Dots are a fun and interactive way to practice skills with a fun magic pen that will make noises to indicate a right or wrong answer. The Hot Dot Jr pen looks like a dog and cheers for students when they answer correctly, encouraging students to try until they get it right.
Imagine being able to whisper a story right into your own ear as you read in a busy room. That is exactly the purpose of the Toobaloo. In schools, these are commonly referred to as "whisper phones," and they allow students to whisper to themselves as they read a story. They can hear themselves when others are talking around them, but they are quiet enough that they don't bother others near by. I would like to have a class set of these so that each student has their own to use so as to avoid spreading germs, especially during the cold and flu season. Thank you for your help!
