Working in a urban school district, my student's love to walk into a welcoming atmosphere. In my kindergarten class, the students spend a lot of time on the rug during language arts, math and center time. The rug that the school provides us with is dull and uninviting to the students. However, during the times of learning the students are unaware of personal space. I believe that this rug will teach students personal space that will help them grow into young adults with regards to how others will like to be treated. Besides learning personal space, this rug is inviting to everyone.
Being a mother of two small children, I'm unable to afford this rug out of my own pocket. This beautiful rug to invite my students to learn is $479 which is far out of my budget.
It will make the classroom more bright and the kids will be excited to learn. Please help me make learning fun!
